Whether you call it an instinctive feeling or a sixth sense, intuition plays significant role in our life and decision making. We use intuition on a daily basis to make critical and non critical decisions.

Neuroscientists and psychologists have been working to explain intuition because without doubt it is one of the most powerful engines of the human mind.

Everyday we use this basic instinct to make best decisions in our life.

Some people have the ability to tap into this far better than others and that make them more successful than other.

Intuition is an interesting form on intelligence which is beyond rational mind. What it means is that when you are in state of intuition your front part of brain – Pre Frontal cortex lights up.

Famous scientist “Carl Jung” believed that humans can use what he called sense perception, which is principally the ability of the mind to bring forth ideas, images and different outcomes all from unconscious.

In scientific terms it is a form of intelligence which is contextual, relational, holistic and does not have win or lose orientation.

In spiritual terms it eavesdrops on universal mind and far from any judgemental behaviour.

There are various ways of develop your this strength and tap into their intuition!

Listen to your inner voice:

Listening to your inner voice is the best way to tap into your intuition. Some people have the ability to listen to their inner voice.

Many people approach and share that they are suffering from constant chatter in their brain and they would like to shut that off.  The problem is that they are not able to differentiate between voices as emotional reactive thoughts and inner voice.

Inner voice comes in pure clarity of silence and guides you to make evolutionary changes.

Become a Keen Observer

Intuition is our virtuous intelligence and it eavesdrop at our subconscious mind. One who observe his environment and thought very keenly able to read this pure form of information much easily.

Intuition not only comes in form of thoughts but it also comes in form of signs.  You have to learn to become a keen observer of your ecosystem/surrounding and its effects on you. Slowly you will learn to join the dots and tap into this mighty strength of yours.

Understand your Sensations

You must have heard that Creative people are very sensitive.

The reason for their creativity is their ability to catch their inner feelings when they start to create something new and unique. An artist can therefore travel deep into his subconscious to can tap into his intuition.

So the success of an artist lies in his creativity which comes from his sensitivity.

Pay attention to your true feeling and try to differentiate from your current emotions. Once you learn how to do it you will able to focus on messages you are receiving from your subconscious mind.

Deeply Connect with others

Many times it happens that when you remember someone intently and suddenly the person just calls.  Or while talking about a person and the person magically appears.

Also a mother gets intuitive about illness of the child even far away.

There are hundreds of such example of deep human connection which we generally address as telepathy.

Every thing in this universe is connected with each other. Once you deeply bond with people your relationship travels from physical plains to subliminal expanse where you can see all three dimensions of time (past, present and future).

This human power can be developed when you connect deeply with others.  Build deeper and sincere association with people.

Give downtime to yourself

Constantly keeping yourself busy, doing multitasking, 360 degree connectivity is sort of buzzword these days. But intuition does not thrive in such environments.  We get so busy that we fail to observe this subtle force within.

Our physical mind does not like to kept idle and we get a sinking feeling when we feel idle.

Give yourself enough space away from occupational every day life.  Our intuitive mind can only start to work when the mental and physical environment is completely tranquil.

Give yourself some downtime, let your mind rest and recover from constant stress and fatigue.  This will allow the floating particles to settle and invoke suppressed power of intuition.

Practicing Mindfulness

Meditation and other mindfulness practices are an exceptional way to tap into your intuition. Mindfulness practice can connect you with your intuitive intelligence which in normal circumstances remains hidden from your conscious mind.

Meditation provides a new dimension to your level of attentiveness and thus you float above your physical existence.

During mindfulness you deeply concentrate on the present moment and disconnect yourself from overthinking past and future. This practice filters your unwanted chatter, emotion, anxiety and fears and connects you to your subtle or universal body. At this moment you tap into your intuition and objectively weigh your options without any disturbance from background clamors.

By practicing meditation overtime you will be able to hear directives of your instinctive mind. Benefits of mindfulness are limitless. Your complete life will change once you start practicing Mindfulness.

Question is how can we put this uncontrollable part of our body to peace when it never stays at one single state of emotion for a very long time. 1. Meditation and Mindfulness

Neuroscience has shown that practicing mindfulness and meditation affects brain areas related to perception, body awareness, pain tolerance, emotion regulation, introspection, complex thinking and sense of self.

While more research is needed to document these changes over time and understand underlying mechanisms, the converging evidence is compelling and just the beginning of the story.

2. Gratitude

The benefits of practicing gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon things they’re thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness and even have stronger immune systems.

Moreover gratitude doesn’t need to be reserved only for momentous occasions. Sure you might express gratitude after receiving promotion at work but you can also be thankful for something as simple as someone opening door for you or a driver in front giving you way first.

3. Visualize

Visualisation is power of positive thought process. It’s like having a ball of energy which is directed towards your purpose.

Once you create a powerful vision and direct it towards your purpose it will attract similar positive energy from someone else leading to fulfilment of manifestation.

There are various techniques of visualisation and if you learn them from the people who practice them, you will find it very easy to practice in daily life.

4. Exercise and Yoga

Its true that healthy mind dwells in a healthy body. Its for this reason that we feel low when our body is week. It also means that if we keep our body healthy, our mind and energy would feel on the TOP of the WORLD.

Yoga is a great way to start your day. By encouraging relaxation, yoga will help lower the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in your body. Related benefits also include the lowering of blood pressure and heart rate, improving the process of digestion and boosting the immune system and in turn making you happy throughout the day and life.

Consider free hand exercises as compared to heavy weights as it minimises the physical effects of stress on the your body yet makes core of the body stronger.

5. Waking up Early

All of us have heard famous quote of Benjamin Franklin “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

In various studies it has been found that waking up early before sunrise extends life, increases the activity of body cells, improves person’s mental capabilities and develops new brain cells.

As per Hindu Mythology the morning hour starting from 4 am is considered “Brahma Mahurata”  meaning “The Time of GOD”. Infact all rishi’s and sages used to start their day at this time with meditation. A big reason for their success and happiness in life.

Infact new age Guru’s are no less. Apple CEO Tim Cook wakes up at 4:30 in the morning and sends out company e-mails.  And at 5 am he’s at the gym. Even Paul Polman -CEO Unilever,  Steve Reinemund -PepsiCo CEO & Chairman rise up between 5 am and 6 am every day to start their daily routine.

So be the Early bird that Catches the Worm.

6. Stay in the moment

The boundary between past and future is nearly fictional

We either live in past or we dwell in future. But we never realise that both these worlds are non-existent. It is our mind creating these worlds through imagination.

Then the big question is – what is true and existent? Our true existence is represented by thin moment which lies between thinking of either past or knitting thoughts for future.

Life unfolds in the present. But often, we let the present slip away, allowing time to pass undetected and unnoticed and wasting priceless moments of our lives as either we worry about future or ponder about past.

It is very difficult to hold mind at a time. Sage Patanjali say’s “Mind is like Monkey – drunk on many bottles of wine and stung by 1000s of Bees”

Meditation ” A Path to Success”

Every living being is unique and has a distinctive journey but we all have fundamental similarities. All of us are closer to our sub consciousness but since sub consciousness is purely spiritual in nature it is entirely hidden from our view.

During my spiritual journey in the present life, I have found that meditation is the most important aspect of our life. It’s the most important medium for humans to connect with divine and inner sub consciousness. We always feel ourselves as an independent individual and this phenomenon only appears in our mind. But in reality we are small energies which are a part of divine super consciousness. During meditation we calm our present state of mind and during this time we connect with our inner consciousness.

“Every individual has his own reason for doing mediation. Whatever the reason or whenever we start this journey the path finally meets at the same terminus irrespective of why, how and when we start” – Manish Behl 

It’s important for us to know why are we doing meditation. If we know our reason & goal than focus becomes simpler.

Meditation has unlimited benefits but still we avoid the effort mainly due to below few reasons.

1. Laziness : Since it’s an effort to take initiative, most people avoid to do meditation. It is natural that anything which is requires effort and discipline, we try and avoid be it exercise , gymming, jogging, yoga etc

2. Guidance : People don’t get correct guidance so after few days they simply lose interest.

3.Excuses : We always give lame excuses for not doing things which are beneficial for us. We just need 20 mins in morning and 10 mins in evening.

4. Rising up early: To do correct form of meditation one needs to spare early morning hours, which most people avoid.

5. Ego: Meditation is the path to awaken our subconscious mind. So the conscious ego prevents this control going to subconscious mind. Gradually when we practice and start to master the art of mind control the conscious ego surrenders control to our pure subconscious mind.

6. Faith : In meditation faith is extremely important but since results are not immediately visible we tend to lose faith.

There are several ways to stay on this path as it leads to spirituality. So find someone who can guide you in meditation and I am sure you will never change your course of life ever.

  1. Be a good Follower :  Look for the people you can follow and be a good sincere follower to your gurus and teachers.
  2. Be a good Learner : Learning never ends and there is always something to learn from situations, behaviours, books, people and above all teachers.
  3. Be a good Listener : Patient listening is best gift you can offer to others, sometime your team members just need a patient listening.
  4. Be a good Motivator:  Acknowledge the achievements, show genuine happiness, take time to encourage and support others.
  5. Be a good Friend: Friendship is a precious and valuable commodity. Be a friend and they would be ready to go an extra mile for you.
  6. Be a good Sport: Make rules and abide by them. Learn to lose gracefully. Do not cheat or play tricks.
  7. Be a good Mentor: Be a positive role model and show prospective. Listen with concern, provide helpful feedback and share your experiences.
  8. Be  Humble and Considerate: Understand things from another’s viewpoint. Be considerate to others situations. Do not try to take advantage on other’s weak position or awkward situation.
  9. Be Positive: Believe in “LAW of  KARMA”. Build healthy and positive environment. Stay away from unnecessary fears. Take criticism in healthy way. Do not criticise or gossip about others.
  10. Be Honest: Don’t lie and be ready to admit your mistakes.
  11. Be Participative: Invite others to share their ideas and help them in decisions making. Participate in all activities with full enthusiasm.
  12. Be Consistent and Realistic: Make realistic commitment and take full responsibility of results. Do not vacillate and ensure your words and action match.
  13. Be ready to Sacrifice: Be ready to sacrifice your happiness, stand and position for the betterment of others.
  14. Be open and approachable: Carry a true inviting smile and open arms. Try to understand why someone has reached out to you and help them with your best resources. Put people to ease. Be accessible and remove unnecessary hinderances.
  15. Be Fit and Healthy :  A healthy person  always become role model for others. He/She is the most popular in any given situation. So stay fit, go for walk, exercise and meditate daily .

To be a good leader  one has to start the journey with being a good human being. This is not a choice but an essential characteristics required to become a good leader. In nutshell “Be a Good HUMAN ”

How to find way, when you are stuck in life !

“There is nothing more painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong and you can’t see the way out”

Sometime you feel stuck in life and feel hopeless. Even after trying very hard for too long you don’t know if life will ever get changed. In your heart you know that you don’t belong to such organisation or relationship or situation but nothing seems to go right and things simply don’t change for better.

No amount of waiting, thinking, reading, praying, meditating or any other tricks seem to work. You try the same old things again and again and they fail you repeatedly. Low motivation, self doubt, frustration start to dwell in you permanently. Every day starts with a hope and dies with disappointment.

Most of the time you have no clue how to solve this maze and you are stuck in catacomb without any apparent reasons of yours.

Albert Einstein said. “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it”

This means you need to move out from your present level of intelligence and do something completely different.

Below are some steps which will always help you to come out of such sticky situations

  1. Believe in yourself
  2. Move out of current mind-set and create a completely different thinking process.
  3. Move out of your comfort zone
  4. Dare to
  5. Don’t lookout for easy way out
  6. Create Opportunities
  7. Try to build partnerships and support

In a Fortune Magazine study, The average executive reported monetary gains equalling six times the amount paid for coaching. Using the above calculations, that worked out to a 500% return on investment. Every living being is unique and has a distinctive journey but we all have fundamental similarities. All of us are closer to our sub consciousness but since sub consciousness is purely spiritual in nature it is entirely hidden from our view.
During my spiritual journey in the present life, I have found that meditation is the most important aspect of our life. It’s the most important medium for humans to connect with divine and inner sub consciousness. We always feel ourselves as an independent individual and this phenomenon only appears in our mind. But in reality we are small energies which are a part of divine super consciousness. During meditation we calm our present state of mind and during this time we connect with our inner consciousness.

It’s important for us to know why are we doing meditation. If we know our reason & goal than focus becomes simpler.

Meditation has unlimited benefits but still we avoid the effort mainly due to below few reasons.

1. Laziness : Since it’s an effort to take initiative, most people avoid to do meditation. It is natural that anything which is requires effort and discipline, we try and avoid be it exercise , gymming, jogging, yoga etc

2. Guidance : People don’t get correct guidance so after few days they simply lose interest.

3.Excuses : We always give lame excuses for not doing things which are beneficial for us. We just need 20 mins in morning and 10 mins in evening.

4. Rising up early: To do correct form of meditation one needs to spare early morning hours, which most people avoid.

5. Ego: Meditation is the path to awaken our subconscious mind. So the conscious ego prevents this control going to subconscious mind. Gradually when we practice and start to master the art of mind control the conscious ego surrenders control to our pure subconscious mind.

6. Faith : In meditation faith is extremely important but since results are not immediately visible we tend to lose faith.

There are several ways to stay on this path as it leads to spirituality. So find someone who can guide you in meditation and I am sure you will never change your course of life ever.
